One dozen egg brownies

One dozen egg brownie recipe.makes one 9x9 brownie pan.

I'm on a quest to find the best low carb gluten free brownie mix. I've tried three now, but they all had problems with them. This is my attempt today. I'm offsetting the dryness of the coconut flower with a lot of butter and eggs this time. Next time I may try to use more coconut milk.

One dozen egg yolks
.5 cups coconut flower
.5 cups unsweetened baking chocolate
2 tbs spoons coconut oil
2 tbs cream cheese
1.5 sticks butter
dash of cinnamon
stevia or no calorie sweetener of your choice to taste.

Optional
nuts
unsweetened chocolate chips.

directions

pre-heat the oven to 375

Melt the butter cream cheese and coconut oil in a sauce pan and mix in the chocolate until it makes a creamy sauce. Add the stevia and cinnamon to this until it tastes sweet enough. remove the sauce from the burner and set aside.

Take one dozen eggs and separate them. Set aside the egg whites and use only the yolks. I may post what I did with the whites later. Mix in the one cup of coconut flower in with the egg yolks and once that is starting to work add in the chocolate sauce. mix until fully combined. It should make a dough like batter.

(optionally here you can add nuts or unsweetened chocolate chips.

take a  pan and grease it and put the chocolate brownie mix inside the pan so that it spreads from side to side.

put in the oven for 15 minutes.

makes about 9 3x3 brownies.

This is closer to what I want. still working on that perfect brownie recipe however.

per brownie: 300 calories 5 usable  carbs.
